What is Upon Return?
Upon Return is a travel advisory service that offers meticulously researched recommendations for hotels, restaurants, shopping, and cultural experiences worldwide. Our founder, Jason Claire, personally visits each destination to ensure they meet our high standards for authenticity and quality.
How much does the membership cost?
The Membership has a one-time sign-up fee of $99 and a monthly fee of $8.99.
Is there a trial period?
Yes, we offer a week-long trial that you can cancel at any time. This allows you to experience our services and see the value we provide before committing to a full membership.
Can I cancel my membership at any time?
Absolutely. You can cancel your membership at any time, with no long-term commitments or hidden fees. Please keep in mind that we don’t prorate and you will have your membership through the end of your current billing cycle.
What do I get with my membership?
Your membership includes access to our global travel guide with 3,000 recommendations, the ability to share your membership with one companion, exclusive content through emails, and the opportunity to refer friends for free months of membership. You’ll also be part of a community of like-minded travelers and have the chance to recommend new places for us to add to our map.
How does the referral program work?
For every new paying member you refer, you’ll earn three free months of membership. The system tracks referral links and applies the reward to your account once the new member signs up and pays for the first month. There’s no limit to the number of free months you can earn through referrals.
How can I recommend a place to Upon Return?
We value our members' input and encourage you to recommend new places for us to explore. To recommend a place, you need to submit your recommendation and get two other members to recommend the same place. Once we receive three recommendations, we will do the research and visit the location in person. If it passes our rigorous test, it will be added to our map.
What is the companion feature?
Each primary member can associate their membership with one companion. The companion can set up their account with their own email and phone number for secure access via two-factor authentication, enjoying the same benefits as the primary member.
